CJ E & M and Jellyfish Entertainment Respond to Debut News BY9

CJ E & M and the Jellyfish Entertainment agency gave their statements about the planned debut of the BY9 boy group project.


Previously there were rumors that CJ E & M had agreed to debut BY9, and Jellyfish Entertainment would be the agency that sheltered it.

But when confirmed, CJ E & M said, "We still haven't decided on the plan to debut the boy group derived from 'Produce X101' since the program ended."

While Jellyfish Entertainment also stated the same thing, "At the moment, there is still no decision regarding BY9. We were also surprised to hear that we will be the agency that oversees BY9. "


BY9 is a boy group formed by fans, consisting of 'Produce X101' finalists, namely Lee Jin Hyuk, Kim Min Kyu, Koo Jung Mo, Hwang Yun Seong, Keum Dong Hyun, Tony, Song Yu Vin, Ham Won Jin, and Lee Se Jin.

Sebelumnya terdapat rumor yang menyebutkan bahwa CJ E&M telah setuju untuk mendebutkan BY9, dan Jellyfish Entertainment akan menjadi agensi yang menaunginya.

Namun ketika dikonfirmasi, pihak CJ E&M mengatakan, “Kami masih belum memutuskan rencana debut boy group turunan dari ‘Produce X101’ sejak program berakhir.”

Sementara pihak Jellyfish Entertainment juga menyatakan hal yang senada, “Saat ini, masih belum ada yang diputuskan mengenai BY9. Kami juga kaget mendengar kabar bahwa kami akan menjadi agensi yang menaungi BY9.”
